We spend so much of our lives looking outside ourselves for answers.

But what if your body already knows?

Join us for Yoga Nidra: Remembering the Body's Wisdom, a deeply restorative experience designed to help you slow down, quiet the mental noise, and reconnect with the quiet knowing that has been there all along.

Yoga Nidra is often called yogic sleep, but it is so much more than rest. It is a guided meditation that allows your body to settle into deep relaxation while your awareness remains gently present. In this space, your nervous system softens, your mind becomes quieter, and it becomes easier to hear your own inner wisdom.

Whether you've been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply craving a moment to pause, this evening is an invitation to come home to yourself.

No experience is necessary. Just wear something comfortable, settle in, and allow yourself to be supported.

How much of your day is spent looking at a screen?

If you're dealing with tight shoulders, a stiff neck, headaches, rounded posture, or that feeling like your upper back is permanently tense, your body is probably asking for a reset.

Join Barb on Monday, July 27 at 7:30 pm for Undo the Desk Day, a 90-minute workshop designed to help you unwind the effects of modern life.

Using gentle movement, accessible stretches, breathwork, and restorative yoga, we'll release tension where it builds up the most, especially in the neck, shoulders, jaw, chest, and upper back. You'll also leave with simple, practical tools you can use at home to prevent that tightness from creeping back in.

Your shoulders will thank you.

Yoga Teacher Training FAQ
The questions you might be too nervous to ask.
And we don't answer them here, Join Gillian and I for a Facebook look Live Info Session on Thursday July 16 at 5:00pm. RSVP or watch the replay here: https://www.facebook.com/share/1BhU1bk9m4/

Every year, I have conversations with people who are curious about Yoga Teacher Training... and almost every one of them starts with, "This is probably a silly question..."

First of all, there are no silly questions.

If you're wondering it, chances are someone else is too.

Here are some of the questions I hear most often.

**Do I have to want to teach yoga?**
No. Many people join because they want to deepen their own practice, understand their body better, or learn more about themselves. Teaching is just one possible path.

**Do I have to be flexible?**
Absolutely not. Flexibility isn't a prerequisite. Curiosity is.

**What if I'm a beginner?**
That's okay too. You don't need to know everything before you begin. That's why it's called training.

**Am I too old?**
No. I’ve had students in different decades of life, each bringing something valuable to the group. There isn't an age limit on learning or beginning something meaningful.

**What if I have injuries or physical limitations?**
Our training is rooted in accessible yoga. You'll learn how to work with your body, not against it, and how to offer the same to others. We learn from each other in this training, so things that may be challenging for you are opportunities for deeper learning in the training.

**Is it in person or online?**
Both options are available. Our Wednesday night two hour sessions are always online, and the weekends are either or. Our training is hybrid, which means some people attend in person, some join completely online, and some move between both depending on their life and schedule. No matter how you attend, you are part of the group.

**How much time does it take?**
It is a commitment, but it is designed for real life. We’ll give you the schedule, expectations, and support you need so you can plan ahead and move through the training prepared.

**What if I miss a session?**
Life happens. We understand that. There are recordings and support available so you can stay connected and keep moving through the program.

**Do you offer a payment plan?**
Yes. We know this is an investment in yourself, so payment plan options are available to help make it more accessible.

**Will I be ready to teach when I’m done?**
Yes, if teaching is your goal, you will be supported in building the skills and confidence to begin. You’ll learn how to sequence, cue, hold space, offer variations, and teach real people with real bodies.

**What makes this training different?**
This training is not about becoming a perfect yoga teacher or the perfect yoga practitioner. Did you know that you can not "get good at yoga?" It is a practice, with no destination, no levels, no advancing.

It’s about learning how to teach in a way that is accessible, embodied, trauma-aware compassionate, and real.

We talk about the body, the nervous system, belonging, self-awareness, breath, movement, philosophy, and how to create a space where people feel safe enough to be themselves. Plus so much more! Check out the full line of topics in the link found in the comments.

**What if I cry?**
You might. We usually do! We believe that laughter is equal to tears and we welcome them with open arms, You might also laugh, surprise yourself, make lifelong friends, and discover strengths you didn't know you had. This work has a way of reaching beyond the physical practice.

**Will I have to do advanced poses?**
No. This training isn't about performing impressive shapes. It's about understanding movement, breath, anatomy, nervous system regulation, and how to create a space where every body feels welcome.

**What if I'm nervous?**
I'd actually be surprised if you weren't.

Walking into something new is vulnerable. Every group starts with people wondering if they’ll fit in, if they’ll be good enough, if they’ll know enough, if they’re ready, and then something beautiful happens.

They begin.

**Can I talk to someone before I register?**
Yes, please. If you’re curious, nervous, unsure, excited, or full of questions, send us a message. I’d love to talk it through with you.

If you've been thinking about Yoga Teacher Training but haven't reached out because you're worried your question is "too silly," ask it anyway.

Chances are, it's one I’ve heard before.

And if it’s not, I’d still love to answer it.

Don't take Reiki because you want to heal other people.
I know... that's a strange way to advertise a Reiki training.

But hear me out.....if your first instinct is always to take care of everyone else, Reiki can become just another way to put yourself at the bottom of the list.

The most powerful thing Reiki gave me wasn't the ability to offer treatments. It taught me how to pause, listen and become aware of what was happening inside my own body. I learned how to to sit with myself instead of constantly reaching outside of myself.

From that place, everything changed.

Yes, you'll learn how to give Reiki treatments. You'll learn the history, the symbols, self-treatment, treatments for others, distance Reiki, chakras, and so much more.

But underneath all of that is something much more valuable.

You'll develop a relationship with yourself that is more trusting and connected. Then from there, helping others becomes something you offer...not another way to put yourself at the bottom of the list

Our Reiki Level 1 & 2 training is coming up soon, and I'd love to share this practice with you.

If you've been feeling the pull, send me a message or register today. I have a feeling you'll wonder why you waited so long.
