Apparently one WCW just wasn't enough this week.

So let's talk about **Tasha**.

Tasha didn't grow up playing lacrosse. She joined the EMLL Ladies Division as a newbie after catching the lacrosse bug from her personal man candy, Mookie, and her badass sister-in-law, Elyse.

And she's been proving ever since that heart matters just as much as experience.

She's one of those players who is always trying to improve. Sometimes she'll be frustrated she missed the loose ball or didn't hit the net. But here's the thing...

She never quits.

She gets back out there.
She runs hard.
She laughs.
She learns.
And she comes back ready to try again.

That's why she's become such a huge part of our drop-ins and tournament teams.

And one of our favourite things?

When Tasha makes a play, BOTH benches cheer.
And when she misses? Both benches cheer anyway.

Because we all remember learning.
We all remember being new.
And we all love watching Tasha grow more confident in her game every season.

We're lucky to be part of your lacrosse journey, Tasha—and selfishly, we're hoping you'll stick around for a whole lot more of it. 💚🥍

This week's spotlight goes to **Parker**.

If you've been around D 'N' L Drop-In, chances are you've seen Parker flying up and down the floor. She may be one of our younger players, but don't let that fool you—her energy is contagious, her hustle is relentless, and her love for the game shines every single night.

Even when her dad, Tyrone, isn't in net, Parker is there. Ready to run. Ready to compete. Ready to help make everyone around her better.

When benches get tired, Parker keeps going.
When someone is learning, Parker encourages them.
When the pace picks up, Parker raises her game and inspires others to do the same.

She's the kind of player every drop-in hopes for—not just because of her skill, but because of the attitude she brings to the floor. Competitive, encouraging, and always willing to help others grow.

Our drop-in season simply wouldn't have been the same without her.

Keep flying out there, Parker. We can't wait to see what you do next. 💚🥍✨

You'd think getting a full team photo in a Masters league would be easy. Instead, someone's still in the locker room, someone's grabbing water, someone's chatting in the hallway, and someone probably forgot we were taking a picture in the first place.

But honestly? That's Purple Reign.

A group of people who show up every Sunday to compete, laugh, chirp each other relentlessly, and share a love for the game we refuse to outgrow.

D & L are proud to be part of this crew. Whether we ever manage to get the *entire* team in one photo remains one of the EMLL's greatest mysteries. 🤣👑

Next Sunday is playoff weekend, and these two teams are set to meet for the FIFTH time this season. 🥍🔥

At this point, there are no secrets. Everyone knows each other's strengths, everyone's familiar with the personalities, and everyone knows exactly what's at stake.

The regular season records are done.
The standings are set.
The score from tonight doesn't matter anymore.

Next Sunday the scoreboard resets to 0-0, and it's winner moves on.

One of the best parts of Masters lacrosse is getting to compete with a great group of people week after week. We've battled Crimson Chaos all season long, and now we get one more chapter added to the rivalry.

Congratulations to everyone involved in another fantastic EMLL regular season. Players, officials, volunteers, scorekeepers, photographers, board members, and fans — thank you for helping make this league what it is.

Now it's time for playoff lacrosse.

On the left, we've got DJ—a great friend, occasional Relic, and a guy who really should come to D 'N' L Drop-In more often than he does. 😏

On the right, we've got D—the other half of the D 'N' L chaos machine, professional organizer of lacrosse adventures, and the guy who somehow convinces all of us that one more season is always a good idea.

After Sunday's league game, we managed to catch these two sharing what can only be described as a "tender moment" before reality quickly returned and the silliness took over. 😂

One of our favourite things about playing in the Edmonton Masters Lacrosse League isn't the wins or losses—it's the people.

These photos from the bench capture a pretty awesome group of players that we're lucky to share the floor with each week. Some are longtime friends, some are newer faces, but all of them help make the league and our lacrosse community what it is.

For many players, D 'N' L Drop-In is where they get back on the floor, knock the rust off, and rediscover their love of the game. For others, it's where they meet teammates, opponents, and friends who eventually help them take the next step into league play.
