Tournament Update!

Last weekend, Everett and Eli were both out gaining valuable tournament experience!

Everett played his very first tournament at Mega Courts in Calgary, competing in the U12 Rookie event. After some early butterflies, he found his rhythm and won all three matches!

Eli competed in his third tournament, a 2-Star event at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton. He didn’t get the wins this time, but enjoyed the challenge of playing against strong players and gaining more match experience.

Great job, Everett and Eli! Keep playing, learning and having fun!

A great day for our Red Deer junior players at Provincials! 🎾

Nicolas Garcia. 3rd place in U14 Singles and U14 Doubles Finalist, alongside Egor Dobrovolsky.

Polina Babkina. 3rd place in U18, competing one age category up.

Sebastian Garcia. U18 Doubles Champion, alongside Ilia Dobrovolsky. Sebastian also competed in U18 Singles, one age category up.

Avril Lin. Competed in U14, also playing one age category up and putting up a great fight.

Congratulations to all of our players on the strong results, determination, and great effort throughout the tournament!

A great week of tennis for our Red Deer players!

Nicolas, Sebastian, Polina and Avril all competed in the Tennis Alberta U12/U16 tournament, achieving great results in both singles and doubles. Several have now moved on to the U14/U18 event, which is still underway.

Congratulations to Polina on taking 1st place in the consolation draw! 👏 Great work!
