U11 AA Announcement - August 27, 2026

CAC is hosting 2 - U11 AA teams for the 2026/2027 hockey season. We are accepting 2nd tryout players from rural and Metro Edmonton associations. Check the Hockey Alberta U11 AA website for information on the process. 2nd tryouts start in the 2nd week of September.

The Canadian Athletic Club is proud to introduce Jamie Jackson as the Head Coach of the U15AA Think Green team for the 2026–27 season!

Jamie brings extensive coaching and player-development experience from minor hockey, academy programs, Junior A, and high-performance environments.

His impressive coaching background includes:

⭐ Head-coaching roles with the Port Moody Panthers, Vancouver NE Chiefs, St. George’s School, Team BC, and Northern Alberta Xtreme

⭐ Assistant-coaching experience in the BCHL with the Coquitlam Express and Cowichan Valley Capitals

⭐ Director-level experience in player development

Jamie’s coaching philosophy is built around purposeful teaching, clear communication, accountability, and creating an environment where players are both challenged and supported.

He is committed to developing skilled, confident, and competitive hockey players while helping them build strong habits, character, and the tools needed to succeed at the next level.

Please welcome our newest head coach to CAC Hockey.

"Coach Greg Crawford or just “Coach Greg” as he has been known for over 25 years, has been coaching with CAC for the last 10 seasons with the U18AAA and U17AAA programs. Greg is one of the lead instructors with the CAC Summer Camps. He also teaches youth coach development programs with Hockey Alberta during the season.

In the last two seasons, Greg was an assistant coach with the U17AAA Canadians that appeared in back-to-back AB Provincial Championships Gold Medal games winning the championship in 2025-26.

Greg brings a wealth of experience focused on high-tempo skill progression, creating hockey sense, and fostering team chemistry. He is dedicated to preparing your athletes for the next competitive level while building lifelong leadership skills.
Greg's coaching motto - We Never Lose. We Either Win or Learn."
