Yahoo!!!! Curling has started for another season. It is great to be back on the ice and sharing laughs with all our fellow curlers. We will be sending 2 teams to Richmond again this November. Good luck guys. Play well but don't forget to have FUN!!!!

Thank you to everyone who helped with a shift at our Casino. The funds raised help us cover the cost of ice rental, curling sticks, training weekends, league play and travel ... just to name a few things. We are very excited about another curling season. Wow, don't think October will come fast enough.

"We are going to be very busy over the next couple months. Our team going to the Nationals in Montreal is busy putting in practice time as they leave April 25. Then our spaghetti dinner is quickly coming up on us - June 6, Evansdale Community Hall - Tickets avail this week. On June 14 & 15 we have our casino - thank you to all who are helping with shifts!! Over the summer we will be having a fun bowling evening and a picnic in the park. Remember to bring friends - lets keep our club growing!!

Edmonton and Calgary played a great game today with both teams making some amazing shots. Edmonton Rocks Team came out the winner of the Alberta Provincials and will be heading to Montreal (April 27-May 3) for the wheelchair curling nationals. Wahoo!!!

Congratulations to Team Canada at the 2013 World Wheelchair Curling Championship today in Sochi, Russia - they won the gold medal by beating Sweden in the final!
