☔ Garneau Program Update – July 15

Due to last night’s heavy rainfall, the Garneau courts are completely soaked and are not safe or playable.

All programs at Garneau are cancelled for today, July 15.

We appreciate your understanding and hope to see everyone back on court as soon as conditions improve.

We will be reaching out shortly with an update regarding today’s cancelled classes, including make-up options.

🎾 Ace the Clay is officially underway! ☀️

Our first day on the clay courts was filled with energy, learning, and plenty of smiles! We have 36 kids signed up, ages 6–17, ready to learn, play, and grow their game. 🎾

From developing new skills to making new friends, it’s already shaping up to be an incredible week!

We can’t wait to watch everyone continue to grow, gain confidence, and have fun on the court. Let’s ace the week together! 🎾💪

To every girl who showed up, picked up a racquet, asked questions, shared her thoughts, tried something new and supported the girls around her: thank you. 💕

Empower Her was created to give girls a space to learn, move, connect and grow in confidence—and today, our participants reminded us exactly why programs like this matter.

We are so proud of each and every one of you, and this is only the beginning. 🎾✨

It was amazing to welcome so many young players to the Saville Community Sports Centre for the first day of our Summer Junior Tennis programs. From first swings to returning players, we can’t wait to watch everyone learn new skills, build confidence, and have fun on the court all season long.

Meet the incredible women helping make Empower Her 2026 an inspiring experience!

This year, participants will hear from three amazing professionals who are passionate about helping girls build confidence, strength, and lifelong healthy habits.

✨ Dalynn Emokpae – Certified Personal Trainer & Pilates Instructor
✨ Rosalie Lau – Registered Dietitian
✨ Tara Huynh – Physiotherapist

Through interactive sessions, mentorship, and meaningful conversations, they’ll share their knowledge, experiences, and advice to help empower the next generation of girls both on and off the court.

Empower Her is a free girls-only program for ages 9–13 and 14–17, taking place on July 12, 19 & 26 at the Saville Community Sports Centre.
