Dancing on Canada's National Ukrainian Festival stage last year is a special memory that we hold dear at Veselka.

We are sending our love and support to everyone involved in the festival. Whether you are a member of the team working so hard to plan the festival, a performer who has been rehearsing to get things “just so”, or planning to attend the festival, the news of cancellation is disappointing and our hearts go out to you.

We especially want to acknowledge the festival board who made this difficult decision with the wellbeing of everyone front of mind. We also want to recognize the people of Dauphin who are still working through the flooding and state of local emergency.

All the best, and here’s to 2027!

Thank you to all the amazing performers that we shared the stage with- especially Millenia who we performed with.

Thank you also to the dance groups that we shared the stage (and the dressing rooms!) with. Vohon Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, Rusalka Ensemble, Zabutnyy Dance Company, & the AUDA performers- we are in awe at your artistry and we look forward to sharing the stage with you again.

And a big thank you to everyone who cheered us on- it was an honour to perform for you!
