Want to learn about horses riding and more? We have a few programs starting up in the next few weeks!

Mini Junior Riders (ages 4-7)
This on-lead lesson will teach our youngest riders the basics of riding through games and activities! Guardians can get in on the action by being the leader!

Learn To Ride (ages 8+, adults)
Over the course of this 6-week program you will learn the basics of riding, terminology and horse care! Perfect for first time riders or riders who are looking to get back in the saddle!

Calling all aspiring riders aged 4-7! Our Mini Junior program is open for registration!

This 6 week program starting on Tuesday, July 28 will introduce students to terminology, arena figures and skills at the walk and trot! Parents can participate too as leaders for the horses or we can provide volunteers to lead so you can sit back and relax!

We are extremley saddened to hear of the passing of Jean Archer who had such an important role in shaping WELCA as we know it today.

Jean operated with the Whitemud Equine Centre for many years and did it all from recreational programs to competitions! She was known by many as hard working, supportive and always had knowledge to share.

Her presence in the horse world will be remembered and missed by many. Our condolences are with her family and anyone who had the joy of knowing Jean.
