That’s why we’re excited to bring you Learn To Lead on October 15, 2026. This one-day learning event will explore what effective leadership looks like in today’s workplace and provide practical strategies that participants can take back to their work sites and offices and apply immediately.

Matt Schellenberger, Vice-President of Membership Services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Parsons as Director of Business Development – South, at OpenCircle Contractors Association. Andrew will work out of our Calgary office and directly support member needs in the Calgary and southern Alberta regions, while also leading new business development in those regions. He will also oversee the operations of our Calgary office, now located adjacent to the Calgary Construction Association at 2725 12 St NE.

“Andrew joins OpenCircle Contractors Association after a decade of proven success in business development in the Calgary construction marketplace. We are excited to add his energy and experience to our senior leadership team, and to have him oversee the growth and engagement of our members in the Calgary region and southern Alberta going forward,” noted Schellenberger.

“I’m excited to join OpenCircle Contractors Association and be part of an organization with such a strong 40-year history in the industry. I look forward to working with our current members, building new relationships, and helping grow OpenCircle’s presence across the region,” Parsons expressed.

Andrew Parsons joins our expanding senior leadership team, along with Jason Grilo, Director of Business Development – North, and our Business Development and Member Engagement teams, will work together to ensure that members’ needs are served throughout Alberta, and across Canada, while also growing our book of business in those regions.

The OpenCircle Contractors Association crew hit the road north to join Martin Long for his annual constituency fundraising golf tournament.

Our team met with a wide range of folks from the West Yellowhead riding and a few of the team managed a fun round of golf. Thank you to the volunteers and sponsors for putting on a great day! May the weather be this kind for all the remaining tournaments our team is proud to be a partner in this year!

Undershute, President of OpenCircle Contractors Association, is pleased to announce the appointment of Warren Singh as Vice President, Strategy and Stakeholder Relations. “Warren’s extensive background in Alberta construction and provincial politics is not only above reproach, but he is also exactly the type of professional OpenCircle wants on our team as the leading Contractor’s Association in Alberta. Warren’s experience and wisdom will help OpenCircle continue to serve our members and member companies in the best way possible.”

“I am excited to join OpenCircle Contractors Association and to contribute to an organization with a strong 40-year history of serving Alberta’s construction industry” Warren Singh noted. “I look forward to collaborating with members, industry partners and government to strengthen relationships, anticipate emerging opportunities and advance forward-looking solutions. Warren joins the executive management team of Ashley Yaremchuk, Vice President, Benefit Services and Matt Schellenberger, Vice President, Membership Services, whose sole focus is to provide the best Contractors Association experience to our 50,000 Members and 1,500 Member Companies.
