Edmonton AC Milan 2 Women finished the season in style with a 5-0 victory over FC Athletica. It was a complete team performance from start to finish, with strong defending, quality chances, and a well-earned clean sheet for Shastene.

Kait led the way with a hat trick, while Kimberlie added a great goal from distance. Monica rounded out the scoring, arriving at the far post to finish a well-placed cross.

A fantastic way to wrap up the season! 👏🔴⚫️

⚽️Players of the Match: Jasmine Falcetta & Jennifer May🦊

Jasmine earned the first Fox for her relentless play, applying constant pressure and creating opportunities with her attacking play throughout the game.

The second Fox went to Jenn, who stayed composed in her battles all game and consistently played smart, quality balls out of the back to help get the team moving forward.

A hard-fought battle against ASC Wild Alliance. ⚽️💪

The AC women came out strong and took a 1-0 lead into halftime after a competitive and physical first half. Kimberlie opened the scoring with a great strike from distance to give us the lead.

We continued to battle hard in the second half, but three quick goals from Wild Alliance turned the game around. Despite the result, the team continued to fight through a tough and aggressive match right until the final whistle.

A difficult game, but plenty to build on as we head into the final game of the season.

⚽️Players of the Match: Shastene Heemeryck & Kait Roberts🦊

The first Fox went to Shastene, who made several big saves to keep us in control while also providing excellent ball distribution to help launch the attack.

Kait earned the second Fox for an outstanding all-around performance, contributing two goals and two assists, including a great header off a corner. Her passing and playmaking helped create opportunities throughout the match.

After going down 1-0 early, the women’s team responded in a big way, scoring seven goals in a dominant first half to take control of the match.

Jasmine, Athena, and Kait each found the back of the net twice, with Kait also scoring a great header off a corner. Kimberlie added another to round out the scoring.

Strikers battled back with two goals of their own, but the team held strong to secure a 7-3 victory. Shastene also came up with several big saves to help keep us in control.

A strong response, a big offensive performance, and another team win! 💪

⚽️Man of the Match: Mateo Diaz🔥

Mateo put together a wonderful performance on the outside midfield against Caricom FC, creating numerous opportunities, pressuring opposing players, and consistently delivering quality crosses from the flank. His work rate and impact were felt throughout the match.

He has been consistent in this role over the past two games, and his continued contributions will be important as we head into the final three games of the season and push for wins. 👏

A tough 4–3 loss for Edmonton AC Milan Premier Men against Caricom FC 🔴⚫️

It was an exciting, back-and-forth game from start to finish. AC Milan dominated the first half, controlling the game and creating several opportunities. Elshafi Ishaq continued his strong run of form, finding the back of the net once again in consecutive games, while Christian Lima added another to give Milan a 2–0 lead at halftime.

Caricom FC responded in the second half, bringing the game level at 2–2. Christian Lima then found the net again to put AC Milan back in front with 10 minutes remaining. Unfortunately, Caricom FC scored twice late, with the final goal coming on a counterattack on the last play of the game to hand Milan a heartbreaking 4–3 defeat.

Another tough lesson for the squad about the importance of playing a full 90 minutes and staying disciplined until the final whistle. With three games remaining in the season, the team will look to regroup, learn from this one, and finish the season strongly. 👊⚽️
