What a week! My second time up to Grande Prairie and my first ever nationals event. So much to see and do in addition to disc golf.

Dylan Bressey GP Greg Hearn and the rest of the gp.discgolf club did an excellent job for the event. The courses were in tip top shape thanks to hundreds of volunteer hours of maintenance.

I didn't play well my first couple rounds. Going into the last day I had a goal of +5 on the tougher (for most people) wooded course. Which I hit right on the nose! I chained out on hole 7 with a solid ace run too.

I got the chance to caddy for Zoë Lorenz-Boser during round two when she was on lead card. Playing under pressure on a video coverage card for the first time, in the biggest tournament of her life to boot!

Gavin Beamish faced some very tough competition but did great in his first ever event accepting cash in the pro division.

Connecting with old and new friends from all across the country sharing our love of the sport was simply awesome.

Watching legends Thomas Gilbert, Nate Sexton and the other MPOs play was a real treat.

It might have been my first nationals, but it won't be my last!
