The company was registered in 2001 by Philani Moyo ( [email protected]) as local Director and with the managing and marketing assistance from two professionals namely Paul Brees ([email protected]) - businessman from Belgium and Chris Mongo a professional rafting guide from USA. Our mission is to introduce everyone who joins our exciting and educative activities to the magnificence of mother Africa and all she has to offer. Our main objective is to help our visitors make the most of their holiday in Zimbabwe-Africa's Paradise. We do all the organising according to guests specifications and we even suggest whats best for them, where to go and when. We clearly understand that a holiday is all about having Golden Moments smiles and long lasting happy memories. All our trips are run by professionals who will ensure you get an excellent rafting experience on the Zambezi any time you come rafting with us. Finally we have the most experienced staff on this industry with most of them doing their guiding overseas like USA Colorado River, Norway, Australia, Italy and South Africa, just to mention a few. We also have guides that speak multiple languages like Italian and Spanish which make it easy for the guest to feel at home all the time during their holiday. Due to our international contacts and guides interchange program we consider Shockwave as part of an international network of professional rafting companies around the world. At Shockwave safety comes first thus why every trip is escorted by an experienced Safety Kayaker whose job is to pick you up when you go for voluntary or non voluntary swim.
