Nkayi United are simply irresistible. The Daniel Ndlovu-coached outfit has turned on the power to move to fourth position, just eight points behind log leaders Hwange, who have a game in hand. This comes after this afternoon's commanding victory against Highlanders' developmental side Bosso 90 at Chiefs Village in Week 17 of the Pacific Breeze Southern Region Soccer League.

Nkayi is now on 30 points after 17 matches.

Chiefs Village witnessed a one-sided contest as Nkayi United dismantled Bosso 90. The win did more than add three points to Nkayi's tally – it brought a sudden halt to Bosso 90's five-game unbeaten run, as the visitors came into the encounter walking with a spring in their step. The victory announced Nkayi as a team nobody will want to face this season.

Nkayi came out firing from the onset, and the game was essentially decided before half-time. Three first-half goals from midfielder Brendon Sithole and last season's deadly combination of James Chivasa and Tino Chitete left Bosso 90 chasing shadows.

The exact order of the opener remains unclear, but what is clear is how quickly Nkayi turned pressure into goals. Bosso 90, who had gone five league matches without defeat, looked stunned by the intensity and precision of Nkayi's attack.

The second half brought no respite for the visitors. Defensive linkman Mduduzi Sithole added Nkayi's fourth to complete a team performance. With the result sealed early, Nkayi controlled possession, defended with discipline, and still threatened on the break. It was the kind of performance that builds belief – solid at the back, ruthless up front.

This is now three wins for Nkayi United, with nine goals scored across their last three league matches, while goalkeeper Romeo Zimba has conceded none. Goals are coming from multiple players, confidence is high, and Chiefs Village is quickly becoming a tough place for any opponent.

For Bosso 90, the unbeaten run ends, but they will take lessons from a Nkayi side that looks sharp, organised, and clinical. If Nkayi keep this momentum, the Southern Region table could look very different in a few weeks.
