Some acts of generosity leave you speechless. This is one of those moments โœ…๏ธ.

Our Parents Representative Committee (PRC) just did something truly out of this world for the Gateway High School family. Not only did they gift the school a brand-new tractor๐Ÿšœ, but they also blessed every single staff member with end-of-term grocery hampers ๐ŸŽŠ. And this is not even the first time they are doing this.

This is what community looks like when love meets action. To our incredible PRC - thank you for going above and beyond, time and time again ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.

May God bless all GHS parents abundantly for the seeds you continue to sow into our school family. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿšœ

Two Gateway High School students, Alejandro Masocha and Othniel Chimwe participated in the Combined schools A-Level Hospitality and Business Programme in Switzerland ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ.

They had an opportunity to experience an international environment that provided them with a valuable glimpse into the world of hospitality, business and international education ๐Ÿ“š ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ.

The programme provides relevant information regarding the undergraduate and pre-university programmes available through Swiss Education Group and its institutions in Switzerland. International exposure equips our students with cultural awareness and enhances their global career prospects ๐ŸŒŽ.

We appreciate our counsellor Mrs Tsungie Majeye who accompanied them on this life-changing journey โœˆ๏ธ.

This week on our Tuesday we have Micheal Chiyangwa ๐ŸŽค. He opens up about how Gateway High School shaped his character in ways that will stay with him for life.

His story reminds us that character isn't taught in a texbook. It's built one decision and one moment at a time. It shows up in who you become ๐Ÿ’ฏ.

We believe in producing a well-rounded individual and Micheal is an example of that. Keep flying the Gateway flag high Micheal โœ…๏ธ.

It's a brand new week and we are grateful to God for it. As we start the week, you can rest in this truth: Godโ€™s plans for you are good ๐Ÿ“– โ›ช๏ธ.

His plans are to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future ๐ŸŒŸ.
The Lord sees what you canโ€™t see yet. Heโ€™s working all things for your good and leading you toward purpose ๐Ÿซ‚.

Walk forward with faith, not fear. Heโ€™s got you, and He wonโ€™t let you down.

Have a blessed week ahead ๐Ÿ™.

We wish 15 of our Travel & Tourism and Enterprise students travelling to Cape Town a safe trip โœˆ๏ธ.

The purpose of the trip is to bridge the gap between theory and practice as well as increase exposure to different cultures and tourist destinations.

May the Lord guide and protect you as you embark on this exciting adventure ๐Ÿ™.

They went from a challenging league season... to walking off with one of the most exciting finishes of the tournament ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘.
This is what resilience looks like, Scorpions.

The Scorpions proudly represented Gateway High School at the prestigious 2026 Golden Girls Hockey Tournament, finishing *7th out of 12 schools* ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ .

Day 1 was an amazing start with two wins, six points on the board, and teamwork that showed real discipline and heart โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™.
Day 2 tested us with tighter games, but the team kept fighting and earned a spot in the 7th/8th playoff.
That final match against Lomagundi went to 1-1, then penalties, then sudden death. Four massive saves in goal and ice-cold composure on the spot sealed a well-earned 7th place๐ŸŽ–๐ŸŽ–.

To the whole team and coaches: your determination, pride, and never-give-up attitude made Gateway proud ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.

Well done, Scorpions ๐Ÿ‘ for a job well done and a great hockey season โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™.

Our students left for the amazing Lower 6 Leadership Camp in Nyanga โ›ฐ๏ธ ๐Ÿ” ๐ŸŒ„.

This camp, is an opportunity for all our Lower 6 to be equipped as they prepare to lead. At Gateway High School we value the development of our students in every area and this includes their development as leaders.

May God's grace and protection surround them over the next few days๐Ÿ™.

This week on our , Nashe Taderera shares how Gateway High School shapes character, builds leaders, and grows your faith in God ๐Ÿ™.

This is what she had to say about the impact our school had on her:

"Firstly, Gateway High School shaped me far beyond academics. One of the biggest lessons was spiritual grounding. Through daily devotions and the schoolโ€™s partnership with Gateway parents, I was trained to build a personal relationship with God, not just follow religion as a routine. That habit of seeking God first carried into my university life and adulthood, and it gives me perspective and hope when things get stressful.

The Life Skills department taught me lessons I use every single day. I learned a lot of emotional intelligence, and how to build respectful relationships with all kinds of people. Gatewayโ€™s culture of discipline and respect for elders taught me humility. Whether itโ€™s a lecturer, a cleaner, or a colleague, I learned to value everyone. At the same time, presenting in devotions and different class projects built my confidence and helped me speak with clear, articulated English. That confidence shows up now in university presentations and in the workplace.

Gateway also taught me to be clean and presentable. We learned that neat hair and clean nails matter. Being smartly dressed shows respect for yourself and others. First impressions matter and being well-presented opens doors and shows professionalism.
Sports, clubs like drama, and other activities taught me consistency, discipline, fitness, and teamwork. In a world where lifestyle illnesses are rising, those habits keep me healthy and active.
Gateway also taught me to be a โ€œglowing starโ€ through humility, not arrogance. So when I walk into any space, I carry discipline, respect, confidence, and a servant heart.

Overally, Gateway didnโ€™t just teach subjects. It taught life. The combination of godliness, discipline, life skills, confidence, and being well-presented has made me the person I am today. Without those lessons, I would have struggled much more to adapt to university and adult life."

Well done Nashe ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘. Keep flying the Gateway flag high.
