Chapman Golf Club is bursting with pride as Munesu Chimhini has been crowned the 2026 Champion of Champions following a sensational victory at Hillside Golf Club, Mutare.

What makes this achievement even more extraordinary is that Munesu is only 15 years old. To compete against and defeat the finest club champions from across Zimbabwe at such a young age is a truly exceptional accomplishment and a testament to his immense talent, dedication, maturity, and love for the game.

Throughout the tournament, Munesu displayed composure beyond his years, outstanding shot-making, and the heart of a true champion. His victory is not only a proud moment for Chapman Golf Club but also an inspiration to every young golfer dreaming of greatness.

Special recognition must also go to Vincent Chidambazina, runner-up in the 2026 Chapman Club Championships, who served as Munesu's caddie throughout the tournament. Their teamwork, trust, friendship, and understanding of each other's game were evident all weekend. Together they formed a formidable partnership, proving that golf may be an individual sport, but great achievements are often built on great teamwork.

For several days, our fairways carried more than competition. They carried history, tradition, excellence, and the unmistakable spirit of a tournament that continues to hold a special place in Zimbabwean golf.

From the early morning rounds to the final presentations, there was a sense that something significant was unfolding — not only for the Nomads fraternity, but for Chapman itself.
