She wore the armband. She lifted the trophies. Now she’s passing it on.
Talent Itai Mandaza came up through Black Rhinos Queens FC as Captain for Black Rhinos and winning all the titles till she retired. Her leadership built the foundation of the dynasty we see today.
But her impact didn’t stop at One Commando Barrack.
1. Won COSAFA cup with the MIGHTY WARRIORS first time to beat SOUTH AFRICA,qualified for the All Africa Games in MAPUTO same year 2011.
2. Qualification for the Olympics RIO BRAZIL and played all the 3 games against top countries German, Canada & Australia.
3. Made Captain of the Mighty Warriors 2016.
From captaining club and country to representing Zimbabwe on the world stage, TALENT has lived our core values: Discipline, Teamwork, Excellence, Integrity.
Current position: Third Assistant Coach at Black Rhinos Queens FC
Now she’s back home at the Barrack, teaching the next generation what it means to be Queens of territorial dominance. The captain’s armband is off, but her influence is still leading us.

Rutendo Makore’s 8 Headers in 6 Games Puts Her Amongst The ZWPSL Top Goal Scorers After MD9.
Did you know after ZWPSL Matchday 9, Veteran Striker Rutendo Makore is amongst the Zimbabwe Women’s Premier Soccer League top goal scorers with 8 goals and the fun fact is she missed 2 games due to injury and came back on Matchday 3 so in 6 appearances she scored 8 headers to make her top the goal scorers chat after MD9.
While others need their feet, Makore needs the sky. Eight games into the season, she’s spent two on the sidelines. But since returning on Matchday 3, every goal she’s touched has come from above 8 headers, 8 goals, 0 left on the ground.
Black Rhinos Queens FC sit 1st after MD9. And at One Commando Barrack, they already have a nickname for her: Madzimai Hammer.
