Victoria Falls Marathon 2026 in summary...

Epic display by Godwin Katakura Digozy Nations to claim back-to-back victories in the Half Marathon distance after winning Tanganda Half Marathon last week. We trust the process and keep focus on the goals.

Our junior athlete Omah Dziva was also in The top 10 in the Half Marathon distance after claiming position 6 amongst senior athletes: a joy to work with and recent Cadence addition.

The former Victoria Falls Marathon Champion Blessing Waison Blessing Waison, came 3rd in the Full Marathon distance in 2.16:36 after losing by some seconds.

In today's HAB Youth Selections done at the University of Zimbabwe Cadence dominated both the 5,000m and 1,500m distances after our juniors Shelton Ncube and Ndodana Paradza claimed first and second positions respectively.

Many thanks to our fans who were supporting and shouting "Cadence" during the race.

Great humility by the Tanganda Half Marathon 2026 Champion Digozy Nations as they race crossing Mutare town. Godwin shares refreshments with the greatest athlete in this 21km distance, locally - Moses Tarakino. Sharing refreshments with a fellow athlete next to you is a sign of respect and sportsmanship. We always tell our athletes not to win through convenience and selfishness, but promote the sport and let the best athlete win.

Our athletes always race under strict instructions. They race the clock; they race times. They never race other athletes. It's part of the Cadence culture.

Noone knows when next the eagle will strike!

Congratulations to our Champions for a top display in today's Tanganda Half Marathon 2026. We always give our fans the best.

Special mention goes to Godwin Katakura Digozy Nations, Godwin Katakura for his ever 1st position in 21km after destroying an elite field that included top Kenyans.

A great performance as well from our athlete Omah Dziva for coming position 9 amongst seniors in the 21km category even though he is still a Junior.

In the 10km Juniors, Cadence dominated with an epic performance from our athlete Ndodana Paradza Ndodana Paradza. He is a joy to watch. Shelton Ncube came 3rd in the 10km junior category after starting the race late. A very promising talent.

See you next in Victoria Falls!
