Many people fall into the trap of chasing a clean kitchen and end up failing to finish preparing the meal. The goal is PROGRESS not PERFECTION.

I recently saw a philanthropist posted on social media that they are looking for a female socialite who is going to be traveling with his wife taking pictures and capturing moments.

What then shocked me is the way socialites were responding to the post. Many were posting how miserable their life is and that the guy must feel pity for them 😂😂😂
It showed me why people must invest in knowledge and know how to sell themselves. You cannot be promoted for being miserable, people are looking for value. How are you going to solve his problem, have you done it before? Do you have the evidence that you are capable? These are some of the things that must do the speaking among others.

I won’t be shocked if l see that post being awarded to a socialite from East or West Africa, the guys are swift and know how to communicate value. I am your finance, customer service and sales coach 😊

Success happens twice first in the MIND and then in the GRIND.

I came across two stories that taught me something in these past days. The first one is of a guy who was inboxed by Asap Rocky on instagram, he wanted the guy to design something for him. The guy went on to post their conversation and Asap saw it and cancelled the deal. Sad right?

The other one is of a dancer from South Africa who is trending now, he had built a very good career with back to back shows and deals from big companies like Adidas. Guess what after his scandal shows are being cancelled and Adidas has also terminated the contract they had with him. Sad right?

As we build success let’s also invest big in managing it. Whatever you were sweating to achieve for years can just vanish because of a two minute decision of being short sighted. Have robust systems around whatever you are building.

As a parent it is very important to introduce your children to finance knowledge early. Having a degree in finance or around finance does not mean you are financially intelligent. I have many people with accounting and finance degrees that l know who are addicted to betting and drowning in debts. Catch them young and allow them to have this skill from a tender age. It will help them manage and sustain what you are building now.

Don’t compare your behind the scenes to someone else’s highlight reel. You have a unique journey to unfold and it’s time to own it. Stay grounded, stay focused and keep moving forward. You are doing well and your best is yet to come. Keep shining!

Imagine if someone had told it that it couldn’t fly, it would’ve spent its life grounded. Our limitations often stem from what we’ve learned or observed. The good news is we can choose what we focus on. Feed your mind with positivity, and you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve. You become what you behold.

There is something that you must know in your pursuit for greatness, it is not going to be handed to you on a platter. You are going to be sabotaged sometimes by people you expected to support you, yes you heard me right. Brace yourself for the worst. Don’t stop cooking until you are done….

Last week l had an opportunity of being one of the speakers at a conference organized by a great man of God from Nigeria. The way he explained it l thought it was a youth empowerment conference. He said since l am far and tied up l can deliver my presentation online via googlemeet. I then started asking about the type of audience and the expected numbers, the answer left me shocked and marveling at the same time. The man of God said it’s a family conference that l organized for my kids.

This man of God has 4 kids and he organized a 3 day empowerment conference for them with invited guests🙌.
He invited me to touch on the ABCs of financial literacy, he invited a doctor to teach them on the importance of health living, he also invited a youth pastor and a lawyer to touch on Godly conduct especially as a pastor’s child and how to be a law abiding citizen respectively.

After the conference l had to give him his flowers. I realized how intentional he is with empowering his children. I also learnt something from that. It’s rare to find such because many parents think they know everything and they can be everything to their children. Be encouraged 🫡
