PUBLIC NOTICE: THEFT AT BUTONDO WESTERN TIGERS FC

Butondo Western Tigers FC wishes to inform the general public that unknown thieves broke into the club store room.
They damaged the roof and ceiling board and stole new red training bibs that were bought for the 2026 season.

An investigation is currently underway.

If anyone sees anyone selling these red bibs in Mufulira or outside Mufulira, please contact the club immediately on:

I want us to talk about the Butondo Western Tigers FC case in the FAZ Copperbelt League.

An appeal was lodged 2-3 months ago and to date there has been no ruling. The long wait is damaging trust and giving rise to rumors of bias.

If we want Zambian football to grow and compete nationally, we must address favoritism and ensure FAZ makes decisions on time and fairly.
Everyone should be aware of this because it affects all of us.

The FAZ Council recently approved expanding the leagues from 18 to 20 teams. FAZ has also divided lower-tier football (such as Division One and Division Two) into geographical zones to make travel more manageable. Alongside these changes, Zambian football is moving its calendar away from the August-to-May schedule and returning to a March-to-November format. A quick, four-month transitional league starting in September 2026 will act as a bridge so the official, full-length.
