A Short Story: Philip and the Ethiopian🙌✅

Philip was a disciple of Jesus who was led by the Holy Spirit to go on a mission. On the road to Gaza, he met an Ethiopian official who was reading the book of Isaiah but did not understand what he was reading.
Philip approached him and explained that the Scripture was speaking about Jesus Christ. The Ethiopian believed the message and, when they came to some water, he asked to be baptized.
Philip baptized him, and the Ethiopian went on his way rejoicing.
Bible reference: Acts 8:26–39
Mission lesson: We should be willing to go wherever God sends us and share the good news of Jesus with others. Even one person can be reached through our obedience.

Peter and the Big Catch
Peter was a fisherman. One morning he and his friends had fished all night and caught nothing. They were tired and ready to go home.

Then Jesus came to the shore and said, “Put your nets out into deep water.”
Peter almost didn’t. But he trusted Him and obeyed.

When they pulled the net in, it was so full of fish it started to tear. Peter fell to his knees and said, “Lord, I’m not worthy.”_
Jesus smiled and said, _“Don’t be afraid. From now on you will fish for people.”

That day Peter left his boats and followed Jesus. He went from catching fish to helping bring people to God.

Even when we feel like we have failed, if we listen and trust, God can turn an empty net into something amazing.
