Say No to Political Violence ✊

BODYBUILDERS URGED TO STAY WAY FROM POLITICAL VIOLENCE

The Zambia Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (ZBBFF) has urged affiliated gyms and bodybuilders across the country to stay away from political violence ahead of the August 13 General Election.

ZBBFF President, Handros Kumwenda, says the federation will not shield any affiliated gym or bodybuilder found to be involved in acts of political violence.

Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Mr. Kumwenda said bodybuilding is a sport that promotes discipline, fitness and overall wellness, and should never be associated with violence.

Mr. Kumwenda revealed that the federation has started engaging affiliated gyms nationwide to encourage gym members to reject political violence and uphold peace during the election period.

He said while bodybuilders and gym members have the constitutional right to support political parties of their choice, they should not allow themselves to be used as instruments of violence.

Mr. Kumwenda reaffirmed the federation's commitment to promoting peace and discipline, warning that any affiliated gym or federation member found participating in political violence will face disciplinary action in accordance with the federation's regulations.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the Passing on of our Former Chairman Dunia Gondwe ( Coach Dunia ) who died this afternoon in a road Traffic accident.

He was Gym Chairman from 2006 - 2008.

Coach Dunia mentored several in the body building Circles and he will be greatly missed.

The funeral house is in Libala Stage 4 Mucheka Street House Number 1.

We extended our heartfelt condolences to the family.
