Former two-time world champion Zolani Tete has been shot and killed in South Africa at just 38 years old.
Tete was reportedly sitting in his car with his 27-year-old girlfriend outside his home in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape, when he was shot.
A truly shocking loss for boxing as Tete was preparing for his return to the sport.
Thoughts are with Zolani Tete’s family, friends and loved ones at this devastating time. 🕊️

Prichard Colon has passed away aged 33, his father has confirmed on social media.
Colon was a rising Puerto Rican boxer who suffered a brain haemorrhage and was in a coma for seven months after the first defeat of his career in 2015.
When he awoke, Colon never fully recovered from the brain damage. He was cared for by his family until his passing.
