Nakonde Warriors Football Club has confirmed that Emmanuel Chimfwembe will continue as the team's head coach ahead of the upcoming FAZ Muchinga Division One Transition League, which kicks off next month.

The Nakonde-based side, popularly known as Team Wechana, has retained Chimfwembe to lead the club as it prepares for another exciting campaign. His continued appointment reflects the confidence the club has in his leadership and vision.

With preparations already in full swing, Team Wechana will be aiming for a strong start and a successful season in the FAZ Muchinga Division One Transition League.

Tazara Rangers FC have officially begun training ahead of the upcoming FAZ Muchinga Transition League. The players and technical bench have returned to the training ground with renewed determination as they prepare for the new season. The club is focused on building a competitive team and delivering strong performances throughout the campaign.

Mpika District Referees Successfully Complete Refresher Course on the Amended Laws of the Game

Mpika District referees have successfully completed a refresher course on the amended Laws of the Game at Kabale Secondary School. The training aimed to strengthen referees' understanding of the latest amendments to the Laws of the Game, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and high standards in football officiating.

The event was attended by FAZ Muchinga Province Chairperson Mr. Samuel Mwape, Provincial Referees Coordinator Mr. Davy Banda, and Training Officer Mr. Mulenga Paul, who all commended the referees for their commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Addressing the participants, Mr. Samuel Mwape encouraged the referees to uphold integrity, discipline, and fairness in every match they officiate. He emphasized that well-trained referees are essential to the growth and credibility of football in the province.

The refresher course was proudly sponsored by Mpika Town Council, whose support made the successful delivery of the program possible.

Both FAZ Muchinga Chairperson Mr. Samuel Mwape, Provincial Referees Coordinator Mr. Davy Banda, and Training Officer Mr. Mulenga Paul expressed their sincere gratitude to the Mpika Town Council for sponsoring the refresher course. They described the partnership as a significant contribution to the development of football officiating in Muchinga Province, emphasizing that such support plays a vital role in enhancing the knowledge, professionalism, and capacity of match officials.

Coach Collins Songolo will not be on the touchline for Tazara Police FC during the 2026 season. Instead, he will focus on football media, where he will be providing updates, news, and coverage of Muchinga football activities across Muchinga Province.
