As we head into a new season,we bid farewell to the following players:

We are thankful for their contribution to the Bad Boys family and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

The Zambian Premier League (ZPL) has announced the 2026 Transitional League format.
The Men National Division will be played on a regional basis for this transitional season, with Atletico Lusaka FC competing in the Southern Zone.
The transitional season will begin on 12th September 2026 and end in December 2026.
Here are the nine (9) teams we will face in our zone.
Fixtures will be communicated in due course.

SIMON CHIPANAMA SIGNS FOR NKANA FOOTBALL CLUB.

After three (3) seasons of great service to Atletico Lusaka Football Club,Simon Chipanama has joined Nkana Football Club.

Simon was an instrumental player for Atletico Lusaka in the time he was with club.
The rock of our defence and a great team player,Simon has earned his place as one of Atletico Lusaka’s best.

He joins Nkana FC with fellow former Atletico Lusaka FC players Abel Kanyamuna and Francis Bubu Mutalange.

ATLETICO LUSAKA FC BIDS FAREWELL TO ABEL KANYAMUNA.

We are pleased to announce that Abel Kanyamuna has completed a permanent move to Super League side,Nkana Football Club.

Having captained the team to its maiden promotion to the Zambian Super League in the 2024/25 season,Abel who came as a boy has left as a young man who rendered invaluable service to Atletico Lusaka Football Club.
He will be remembered for his leadership and discipline and will always be part of the club’s history.
We wish Abel the absolute best as he starts this new journey.

FRANCIS BUBU MUTALANGE LEAVES ATLETICO LUSAKA FOOTBALL CLUB.

Atletico Lusaka FC is pleased to confirm that Francis Bubu Mutalange has joined Nkana Football Club.
Having devoted 6 seasons of his career to Atletico Lusaka FC,Bubu’s impact on the club transcended the football pitch.

He leaves as one of Atletico Lusaka’s best,a magician with the ball whose talent and zeal know no bounds.

LWEENDO CHIMUKA SIGNS EUROPEAN DEAL!

Atletico Lusaka Football Club is pleased to announce that right back Lweendo Chimuka has signed a 4 years deal with FC Alashkert,Armenia.

The historical Armenian club has acquired many accolades and recently qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The deal was facilitated by FIFA agent Nir Karin who said he is happy for Chimuka and the future of Zambian football.

“It’s a dream come true. I want to thank Atletico Lusaka FC for being my home and school for so many years and I want to thank my agent Nir Karin who helped make my dream come true.” Chimuka said when asked about his move.

Chimuka will join fellow former Atletico Lusaka FC player Joseph Sabobo Banda in Armenia.

ZPL NATIONAL LEAGUE - FINAL TOP 10 SCORERS CHAT

Raymond Mwiinga headlines the final Top 10 scorers list, sealing the league’s Golden Boot award!

Congratulations to the boys on finishing the league on a high note after a very difficult start to the season.

Congratulations to our Technical Director, Miguel Martínez Latorre, Head Coach Simon Kangwa and the entire technical bench for leading the team, launching new talents, and successfully adjusting the squad during the second part of the season.

A special congratulations to Raymond Mwiinga on topping the Top Scorer chart with 14 goals without a single penalty.

Our deepest gratitude goes to our supporters for the trust, passion, and continuous belief in the boys throughout the season.
