SIMBI YAMOTO FC CONFIRM 19 NEW SIGNINGS WITH RIVERPLATE FC, CHIPATA CITY COUNCIL AND MIKA FC AS KEY CONTRIBUTORS.

Simbi Yamoto Football Club is pleased to confirm the arrival of 19 new players as part of the club’s summer recruitment drive ahead of the 2026 FAZ Division One transition season. The club is especially grateful to National League sides Riverplate FC, Chipata City Council and Mika FC, who have been key contributors in strengthening the Fire Family during this window.

As part of our strategic plan to strengthen the squad, the technical team and management have worked to identify and secure talent from several parts of the country that aligns with the club’s vision and playing philosophy as indicated on the Mapping shape below.

Among the other notable signings so far are players recruited from Ngiyero Warriors and Eastern Eagles. The club has also completed business with Katete Rangers, Runa FC Lusaka, Shamuel Academy, Kazungula United, Chawama United, Nanga Farm FC, Viking Football Club, and Mutenguleni United.

The club would like to extend its appreciation to all the clubs involved for their professionalism and cooperation during the transfer process.

We welcome all our new players to the Fire Family and look forward to integrating them into the squad as preparations for the new season intensify. Further announcements, including the full squad list, will be made in due course.
