in Western Zambia still offers a profoundly wild and crowd free safari experience - in any other wildlife reservat there would be at least a couple of safari vehicles gathering around these young lions trying their luck in hunting in the late afternoon - as usual in this remote and pristine environment, we had the privilege of being alone with these guys.

African Jacana have an interesting breeding habits: while the female leaves all parental duties behind after laying her eggs, the male is solely responsible for building the nest, incubating the eggs and raising the chicks.
