It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Corn Muchindu, beloved father of Michigan Soccer Academy CEO, Club President, and Team Founder, Adriano M'chindu.

Mr. Muchindu passed away at approximately 03:45 hours at Namwianga Hospital.

On behalf of the entire Michigan Academy family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Adrian Muchindu and the entire Muchindu family during this difficult time. We pray that God grants them strength, comfort, and peace as they mourn the loss of their beloved father.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

A few photos from our final game of the Division 3 Zone B season in Zimba District.

Our boys put in a strong performance and showed great determination throughout the match. The opening goal came from Ancient Lubasi, our goalkeeper, who was deployed as an outfield player due to several players being unavailable to travel because of their busy schedules.

Geshom Mundia then added the second goal before halftime. However, Namadula FC managed to pull one back just before the break, making it 2-1 at halftime.

In the second half, our boys continued to push forward with great energy and commitment. A brilliant assist from our young star Choolwe Moonga found Geshom Mundia, who calmly finished to score his second goal of the match and make it 3-1.

The final whistle confirmed a deserved 3-1 victory for Michigan Academy.

MICHIGAN ACADEMY – TOURNAMENT PREPARATION REPORT

Michigan Academy is pleased to confirm its participation in the upcoming Kalomo Youths League Soccer Tournament for Under-13 and Under-15 teams, scheduled for 23rd May 2026 at Namwianga Secondary School Ground, starting at 09:00 hours. The academy views this tournament as an important opportunity for young players to gain competitive experience, showcase their talent, and further develop discipline and teamwork on the field.

Our preparations are ongoing, with focus on fitness, tactical awareness, and teamwork ahead of matches against strong opponents such as Dayrox Sports Academy, Raising Stars, and Young Jetters. The coaching staff remains committed to ensuring that both the U13 and U15 squads are well-prepared to represent the academy with pride, good sportsmanship, and determination. Michigan Academy looks forward to a competitive and successful tournament.
