Today marks exactly 4 years since Elite Stars Football Academy was launched.

More teams.
More leagues.
More opportunities than ever.
But here’s the question…

They don’t get paid.
They don’t get bonuses.
They don’t get trophies for dedication.
They don’t get headlines.
What they do get…
Is rain on a Tuesday night.
Early Saturday/Sunday alarms.
Mud on their boots.
And responsibility for other people’s children.
They give up evenings with their own families
to help yours.
They finish work…
and start coaching.
They miss meals.
They sacrifice weekends.
They will spend their own money on equipment.
They plan sessions late at night
when nobody’s watching.
They don’t do it for money.
They don’t do it for praise.
They do it because a child smiling,
improving,
growing in confidence…
is worth more than any pay cheque.
Volunteer coaches are the real heartbeat of football.
Without them — there is no game. ❤️⚽️

💬A bad coach will show signs of favoritism. He will put certain players, who are often the most talented, on a pedestal. The coach will generally allow these players to play a significant amount of time while allowing the other players little to no time on the field. Bad coaches will often cause the players who are not one of their favorites to feel inferior with a lack of compliments or increased criticism.
