Today is International Day of Friendship, and what better way to celebrate than by inviting someone to join you at parkrun this Saturday?

Think of the friend you've been meaning to catch up with. The colleague who's been saying they'll come "one day." The neighbour looking for a reason to get moving. Or someone who simply needs a welcoming community and a positive start to the weekend.

At parkrun, everyone is welcome. Whether they walk, jog, run, or volunteer, they'll find friendly faces, encouragement and a community that's happy to have them.

This Saturday, share your parkrun. Bring a friend, make a memory, and help someone discover that parkrun really is for everyone.

Every Saturday, our parkrun community is powered by incredible women, runners, walkers, volunteers, and leaders. This August, we're celebrating them.
