Paarl Squash Club SPRING FESTIVAL
This year Paarl Squash Club will be holding its 27th Spring Squash Festival from 14 - 16 October 2022.
In past years players from all over South African have entered the tournament that is now a highlight in the Boland’s’ annual squash calendar.
Paarl Squash Club and its members all extend a hearty invitation to you to visit our club and participate in this tournament.
HOW IT WORKS:
ENTER A TEAM OF 5 PLAYERS
Play will start at 16h00/16h30 on Friday and finish on Sunday.
All the teams will be divided into A, B and C sections with play-offs. Seniors will get priority over junior teams.
A Section: Teams will consist of five players whose playing strengths are arranged in descending order from No. 1 to No. 5, No. 1 (1st or 2nd league player), No. 2 (3rd or 5th league), No. 3 (5th or 7th), No. 4 (7th or 8th league) and No. 5 (9th or 10th league). If there’s not enough teams, players will play individual, maybe in the A and B pool.
B Section: Teams will consist of five players whose playing strengths are in descending order from No. 1 to No. 5, No. 1 being an 8th league player down to No. 5 who is a 15th league player.
C Section: Teams will consist of five players whose playing strengths are in descending order from No. 1 to No. 5. No. 1 being a 14th league player down to No. 5 who is a social player.
Should your club wish to enter a team into the A Section but do not have a first league player, you are free to invite a player from another club to play for your team.
Clubs are also free to join strengths with other clubs in order to put a team together. Should you wish to enter as one individual player you may also do so.
Individual entries will be placed into a team on the level of their league strength SHOULD THERE BE A PLACE for such entries.
ENTRY FEE:
R380 (Incl. Breakfasts, Dinners and Sunday Lunch)
