𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐮𝐠𝐛𝐲 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 had a successful 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐮𝐠𝐛𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 in the heart of the 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐠, where local primary schools 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 went head-to-head.

Both teams put on a fantastic display of grassroots rugby, with great discipline, passion and, most importantly, sportsmanship throughout the day. 👏🏉

SANLAM DRAKENSTEIN DERBY CHAMPS 2026

Boland Rugby, together with Sanlam and its valued partners, is proud to bring an exciting new chapter to schoolboy rugby in the Drakenstein.

Eight local schools are competing in a unique derby championship, with the existing derby clashes forming the quarter-finals before the competition culminates in an action-packed Cup Final at Faure Stadium on 29 August 2026.
