Any government mandate could have a profound impact on the Gym Industry in South Africa, which has only just started recovering from the long lockdown closures. The effects of these mandates would have a very widespread impact on your local gyms and on the staff that work there.

As per President Ramaphosa's address to the nation on Sunday night, government is considering following some other countries regarding mandatory Vaccines in order for people to participate in certain activities, for example attending sporting events going to gym, travel, grocery stores, etc. Slater Gyms in conjunction with FitSA is running this survey to gauge what your feelings are on this.
