Fly fishing 🎣

Hugo at it again the plan was to go for some R&R with a fly-rod.

Weekend was booked couple of days prior, so we did not know the outcome of the weather.

Up we went with a cold front, the mornings was very cold at around -9°.

No trout was landed and one friend managed a small bass, it counts as it was cought on a fly 😀.

We as a group had an amazing time at Hopewell in Swartberg district with almost no phone signal.

Will we go again, yes definitely.

After braving some cold, we decided to go and Xplore some still waters for trout.

I managed X7 fish for the day biggest was around the 40cm still a good size in my books.

Fish was very healthy.
