Late Harvest

After a hiatus of about 15 years, we have a fully-rigged Hobie 16 on the water. Next one should be done in the next few weeks; and then the fun will really start. Late Harvest Regatta, here we come!!

Absolutely fabulous weekend at Late Harvest. Beautiful weather and great company. Came to an end far too quickly...but next weekend isn't too far away ;-)

What a gorgeous day! Started off rather chillz (8C at 9am) but warmed up into the crisp, clear autumn day that you can only ever get in the Highveld. Happy place indeed!

Mother Nature has been giving us a bit of a snot-klap lately. Four 40-yr old trees blown down in 2 weeks. That's a whole lot of firewood that needs to be chopped up....thank goodness for Stihl and my super-duper hubbind who does the lumberjack thing so well! We are both well and truly pooped tho :-(
