A NEW FORCE IN THE RUNNING COMMUNITY.
We are proud to officially introduce ICONIC PACERS, a dedicated community of runners committed to transforming the marathon experience through leadership, consistency, encouragement and purpose.
Born from the vision of Icons4Change and the Icons Journey Marathon, Iconic Pacers represents more than runners carrying a pace flag.
We are leaders on the road.
We are motivators in the moments that matter.
We are the steady presence between doubt and determination.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to help runners reach their goals, experience the joy of finishing, and discover the strength within themselves.
Through strategic pacing, mentorship, teamwork and community engagement, Iconic Pacers will work alongside the Icons Journey Marathon Vision to build a culture where runners support runners, where achievement is celebrated, inclusion is embraced, and no runner feels alone on the journey.
This is not simply a pacing initiative.
It is a movement.
It is a responsibility.
It is a commitment to change lives.
To every runner who has ever needed someone to say “Keep going, you’ve got this”, this movement is for you.

…. Standard Bank Handover Invite 🔵
Following their visit to Qokolweni-Zimbane Traditional Council on 10 February 2026 where they made a commitment to donate items that will benefit the community of Qokolweni/Zimbane. Next week Standard Bank will be handing over those items which include;
•A mobile fridge,
•Chairs
• and a Gazebo
to iKomkhulu.

…. 🚩🇿🇦 DON’T DROP THE FLAG, THE LEGACY MUST CONTINUE! 🇿🇦🚩
Eight days, 400 kilometres, One flag, Countless stories.
This flag was carried by the 400km Class of 2026 through eight days of pain, sacrifice, determination, sweat and unforgettable moments.
But the flag was never just a piece of cloth.
It became a symbol of courage, A symbol of unity, A symbol of hope, A symbol of CHANGE.
Today, the journey takes a new direction.
The flag leaves the 400km route and begins a journey across South Africa, travelling from race to race, from short distances to long distances, from one runner to another, from one community to another.
Today, runners under the ATRA Federation proudly carried the flag🚩🏃🏾♂️🏃🏾♀️
And this is only the beginning.
Every runner who carries it will carry more than a flag.
They will carry the story of every Icon who came before them.
They will carry the dreams of those still waiting for their opportunity.
They will carry the responsibility of keeping the movement alive.
Until one day…
The flag will arrive in the hands of the 400km Class of 2027.
And when that moment comes, they won’t just receive a flag.
They will receive a legacy. ❤️🔥
So wherever this flag goes, there is only one instruction:
🇿🇦 DON’T DROP THE FLAG!
Because when you carry it, you carry us all.
South Africa, watch this flag. The journey has begun.
