Did you know...

Chookas- this term dates back to the early 1900s in Australian theatre. If a show had a "full house" (a sold-out crowd), the performers would be able to afford a coveted, expensive roast chicken dinner after the curtain dropped. Hearing the house count, the stage manager would yell "Chook [chicken] it is!", which was eventually abbreviated to "Chookas!"

Similar to saying "break a leg".
