🎉🍻 Happy Birthday, Nolan! 🎉

For so many of our members, regulars and visitors, Nolan is a familiar face at Swellendam Golf Club.

Whether he is greeting members and guests on their arrival, assisting with club inquiries ranging from tee off times to processing green fee bookings, serving your favourite drink at the bar or assisting with competitions and tournaments, Nolan creates a welcoming atmosphere.

A fellow golfer, a professional, in the workplace, a friend to many and someone who has become very much part of the SGC family, we appreciate all that you bring to the club.

Wishing you a fantastic birthday and a year ahead filled with good company, plenty of time on the fairways and, naturally, some great golf! ⛳️🍻

Have a great one, Nolan, from all of us at SGC! 💚

25 YEARS OF DEDICATION — CONGRATULATIONS, ANDRIES!

Today we celebrate a very special milestone at Swellendam Golf Club — Andries Smit’s 25th work anniversary! 🎉

For 25 years, Andries has given his time, knowledge and dedication to our club. His commitment and service are without question, and his experience and expertise are an important part of our tight-knit course groundskeeping team.

Andries is a valued member of our club family, and we are truly grateful for the contribution he has made — and continues to make — to keeping our course looking and playing as it should.

25 years is a remarkable milestone. Andries, we applaud you, we thank you and we congratulate you on this special achievement.

If you see Andries around the club, please take a moment to congratulate him and thank him for 25 years of dedicated service to Swellendam Golf Club.

Here’s to you, Andries — and to many more years of making your mark at our country club with a big heart. ⛳💚

Congratulations on 25 years! 🥂

Happy Heritage Day from all of us at Swellendam Golf Club! 🇿🇦

With the Langeberg mountains behind us and wide green fairways in front of us, we're reminded every day how lucky we are to play in such a beautiful part of South Africa.

Today we celebrate the people, cultures and stories that make our country what it is, and the friendships made on and off the course. Whether you're teeing off, lighting the braai or spending time with family, enjoy the day.

⛳ Thank you, Olivedale W**e Estate

Saturday's Daneel Cup and Mooiuitsig Cup at Swellendam Golf Club were made possible by our sponsor for the day, Olivedale.

These vineyards are still the only estate in our district that's Swellendam from vine to bottle. Like Swellendam Golf Club, Olivedale remains proudly Swellendam.

No strangers to international recognition, Olivedale has just walked away from the Michelangelo International W**e Awards 2026 with 🥇🥇 Double Gold for Wild Melody 2020, Gold for the Shiraz and Chardonnay, Silver for the Malbec and Rouge Muscat...and that's before the three Golds at the Niche W**e Competition 2026🍷

We're proud to have them behind the club, and grateful for their support.

From this week, a selection of Olivedale wines is available at the club bar — at cellar prices, for members and visitors.

Thank you, Olivedale.

A heads up, members and visitors 👋

Our Golf Café kitchen will be closed from 28 September until further notice while we get some renovation work done.

Good news — the bar's got snack duty covered in the meantime, so your usual peanuts, crisps and golf-day favourites are still on hand at the club bar.

Thanks for your patience while we spruce things up behind the scenes — we'll let you know as soon as the kitchen's back in action.
