A GOOD WEEK ON THE MATS.
Fuller classes, hard rounds, plenty of learning, and a few new faces joining us throughout the week.
We might have forgotten to grab the post-class selfies on Monday, but we'll take that as a sign that everyone was too busy training. 😂
Another week of showing up, putting in the work, and enjoying Jiu-Jitsu together.
See you on the mats next week!

LADIES, WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO?
Self-defence isn't about being the strongest person in the room. It's about knowing how to respond when things don't go according to plan.
Here's a little look at one of the skills we work on in our Women's Only Self Defence classes—first the technique, then putting it into practice.
Our classes are completely free, and beginners are always welcome.
If you'd like to join us, get in touch using the contact details in our bio to reserve your spot.
Confidence is a skill. Train it.

A LITTLE LOOK AT LIFE ON THE MATS
Some post class selfies, some open mat rounds, a little behind the scenes chaos 🤣
Because not every moment at Brothers in Grappling is about perfect technique. Sometimes it’s about the hard rounds, the good laughs, the friendships, and occasionally moving a fellow coach out of the way because you need to roll with your student.
It’s all part of being part of the community.

NO HANDS. JUST JIU-JITSU.
What happens when we take away the hands and make the kids solve the problem with their bodies?
This game starts from side control. The person on top has one job: stay there.
The person underneath has to find a way out — either escape from underneath their partner or knock them off balance.
It might look like a game, but they’re working on some very important jiu-jitsu skills: movement, balance, pressure, timing and problem-solving.
And yes, you can learn a lot with just two people on the mat.
