When MTB’s became available in the late 1980’s (no suspension!) I started exploring the trails a Peace out!
When I start to talk about my love for cycling it all starts with spending time in nature as a kid. Growing up in Surrey in the UK there were endless roads to explore on my Grifter Grip shift 3 speed. When MTB’s became available in the late 1980’s (no suspension!) I started exploring the trails around our beautiful town. The space between these two wheels has given me much joy, created friendships
that will last a life time – but also gave me time to reflect on life and my connection to the Creator. It gives me time to reflect on love and loss and gives me space when it all becomes too challenging. It is here where I get my energy and my connection to these trees and the mountain trails cannot be put into words. It would be great if you could join me some time – there is a lot I would like to show you. All our trips can start in town and the length of our rides can vary from 2 – 6 hours depending on what you have in mind. There are brilliant restaurants and places to stay – we are less than an hour’s drive from Cape Town International. I prefer one on one and small group rides – safety comes first and I want my co-riders to experience the serenity and beauty of this area in a comfortable manner. Our rides are a combination of jeep track and single-track rides on well-maintained routes near an abundance of other leisure activities and second to none hospitality. We all must decide how we will make the connection to others in the time we have on this planet – being able to do so on my mountain bike is the fit that I have always searched for. I think I have found my grove…
The mountains are calling – would love to have you over!
