It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a true soul of our community, Grant “Mega” van Schalkwyk. 🕊️🏉

While he proudly wore the jersey for Franschhoek RFC, Mega’s spirit and warm heart belonged to the entire Valley. On and off the field, he represented every single one of us with passion, kindness, and unmatched brotherhood. He was a presence that brought people together, no matter what club colors you wore.

To a man with one of the biggest souls we will ever know—thank you for the countless memories, the strength you shared, and the legacy you leave behind. You will be deeply missed by so many across our entire community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and teammates during this difficult time.
