First Competition done and dusted. The Fairmont / Stellenbosch High school competition was a windy season opener. Best result came from Theolin Edwards u/14 from Boys High throwing a new pb of 56.89m.

Congratulations on another International podium finish Jana van Schalkwyk !!

Jana won Bronze at the Africa Senior Championships in Ghana yesterday. Competing in Africa is always challenging but this time round the travel arrangements add to that challenge as she arrived in Ghana only a day before competing after a long trip.

Well done on a well deserved medal!!

ASA Age groups Championships 2026.
Congratulations to the following athletes:
Nicola van der Merwe (u/18) Rhenish Girls' High School on winning the Gold medal with a excellent throw 54.74m.
Geon Fouche (u/16) Hoër Landbouskool Boland winning the Silver medal with a fantastic new pb of 65.45m.
Reuben van der Merwe (u/20) Maties Sport winning the Bronze medal with a fantastic throw and new pb of 70.64m.

Well done to all the other athletes, super proud!!
