From the Swartland to St Francis Links — a night to remember 🍷✨

Last night, St Francis Links members enjoyed a memorable Kloovenburg w**e tasting, joined by Pieter-Steph and Johan du Toit and w**emaker Duncan Stuart — an evening of exceptional w**es, beautifully paired food, personal stories and, of course, a little rugby.

Members of all ages had the opportunity to meet Pieter-Steph in person, share a few words and enjoy the easy, personal nature of the evening.

One of the highlights was hearing Pieter-Steph and Johan share stories about growing up on the farm with their two brothers, to some memorable moments from the rugby world. Their stories offered a lovely glimpse into the family behind Kloovenburg and the strong connection they still have to their Swartland roots.

The w**es were beautifully showcased alongside an exceptional five-course menu created by Chef Pieter and his team. From smoked salmon and burrata to slow-braised venison pie and beef fillet, followed by a decadent Amarula cheesecake, each course was thoughtfully paired to complement the Kloovenburg w**es.

Beautiful w**es, exceptional food, wonderful stories and plenty of laughter around the table.

A heartfelt thank you to Pieter-Steph, Johan and Duncan for sharing such a memorable evening with our St Francis Links members — and for bringing a little piece of Kloovenburg W**e & Olive Estate and the Swartland to St Francis Links. 🍷

What an incredible Heritage Day at St Francis Links with St Francis Tourism!

From a fantastic day on the golf course to an unforgettable Back to the 80s celebration with the brilliant Steve Graham, the energy from start to finish was something special.

Steve summed it up perfectly, thanking the St Francis Links amazing team for such a spectacular evening and saying, “You guys were on fire last night!” 🌟

A huge thank you to St Francis Tourism and to everyone who joined us and made the day and night so special. And, of course, to our incredible St Francis Links team for bringing the energy, the hard work and the fun from start to finish!
