West Workout also has been instrumental in growing Powerlifting in the Western Cape and helping many top lifters achieve their national colours. Howard qualified in the UK with the British Amateur Weightlifting Teachers and Instructors awards and coached in gyms in England for 2 years before he took over West Workout. He has been in bodybuilding since 1988 and still competes in the Masters division nationally and internationally. West Workout Gym is home to 100% Raw powerlifting in South Africa �
