Raw nature on the Wild Coast!

While out on the trails this week, we witnessed the sad sight of sardines washing up along the shoreline due to the recent Pilchard Herpesvirus (PHV) outbreak affecting South Africa’s coastal waters.

If you are out walking or trail running along the beach, please do not collect, eat, or let your dogs near the stranded fish, as secondary bacteria make them very unsafe.

A stark reminder of the fragile balance in our oceans.
