🎉 Huge congratulations to Ruben on his new PB of 37lb (17kg)!

After finally getting some well-earned time off, Ruben headed out for a social session with a few of the ambassadors. They decided to return to a swim that had produced well for them before.

Fishing a Cream & Corn Wafter tight against a line of large boulders, Ruben settled in for the night feeling confident in his approach.

Just after sunrise, his rod screamed off into the early morning mist. After an unforgettable fight, a truly stunning 37lb (17kg) carp slipped into the net.

A well-deserved PB—congratulations, Ruben! We can’t wait to see what the future holds. 🎣

“This was a 3-night session at Bergsig. It was a really tough session due to heavy line pressure. I only fed on the first night, creating a small feeding spot and then left it undisturbed.

Both rods were fished with spinner rigs. One was baited with a Mango Litchi Wafter, while the other was a Krill Pop-Up topped with a piece of fake maize.

Despite the challenging conditions, the strategy paid off and I managed to land some beautiful carp. A session to remember!”
