Day 2 of CPL 8.0 saw all 16 of our u12 and u14 teams in action across a massive day of hockey!

The Raptors faced two rounds of fixtures against the Rebels and the Heat, leaving everything out on the turf.

We’re looking forward to the final day of Weekend 1, as our teams take on the Royals and the All Stars!

There’s still plenty to play for on the final day. Let’s keep roaring!

The Netherlands 2026 | Kit Reveal

We are excited to reveal our official kit for the 2026 Netherlands 🇳🇱 Tour as our 6 teams prepare to depart on 25 September.

A design inspired by Africa, blending the colours of the Dutch (capital of world hockey) with the iconic away kit of the World Champions (Germany).

A celebration of our roots, our passion for hockey and the international journey ahead.

Players from South Africa 🇿🇦 and Namibia 🇳🇦 will join forces to take on hockey clubs across the Netherlands, embrace a new culture and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Different nations. One team.

Western Province Primary Hockey Top Schools 2026 | Boys Final

Match highlights from the Boys Final of WP u13 Top Schools.

Rondebosch 4–1 Bishops

It was a final dominated by penalty corners, with all five goals coming from PC mark.

Congratulations to Rondebosch on a fantastic season and finishing the year as champions with a well-deserved gold medal.

CPL 8.0 is officially underway and Day 1 was an absolute ripper! Cape Town’s biggest hockey league is beaming across the Mother City.

This weekend is all about our u12 and u14 teams as we compete in the Cup, Plate, Bowl and Shield Sections.

We opened our season with a derby against the Raiders, setting the tone for an incredible 8th edition.

Together, we celebrate the spirit of hockey, friendship and life.

2026 will be another year of history makers as one of hockey’s greatest rivalries comes down to the final day of WP u13 Top Schools.

Girls Final (11:40):
Eversdal from the Northern Suburbs will take on De Hoop from the Helderberg region.

Boys Final (12:40):
In the last dance of 2026, Southern Suburbs neighbours Rondebosch will go head-to-head with Bishops.

One final match. One final opportunity.

For the Grade 7s, it’s time to leave everything on the turf and give it all for the badge.

The stage is set.
The finalists are ready.

What a day of WP u13 Top Schools Hockey!

The weather was unbelievable and the hockey on show from the best 10 boys and girls teams was nothing short of world class.

Day 2 delivered all the thrills and spills and we are incredibly proud to be investing in Primary School Hockey in Western Province.

The talent on show has been exceptional, with this generation already making their mark and becoming one of the major talking points at u13 IPT.

Western Province have defended their Boys title for four consecutive years, while the Girls have claimed the title for three years in a row. A true reflection of the incredible depth of talent coming through the province.

WP Primary Schools Hockey is in very good hands. What a special day at WP u13 Top Schools.

The Theatre of Dreams has come alive!

Day 2 of WP u13 Top Schools is delivering everything we hoped for and more.

The intensity. The passion. The determination. And the relentless pursuit of a place in this evening’s semi-finals.

Off the field, the atmosphere has been incredible! The support from the stands has been absolutely top class, with schools, families and supporters creating an atmosphere worthy of the occasion.

This is hockey’s greatest rivalry.
