Yoga philosophy has taught me that we struggle to learn how to struggle 💀

Maturing in fitness is taking almost 8 weeks after India to get back those weights back up. It’s also being okay with only one round at this weight for DT instead of 3 😂

In a world determined to label and box us I’m determined to be guided by what feels best for my body in each stage.

Yoga and strength training have been two modalities I’ve done throughout my “fitness career” and contrary to what so many seem to believe they’re not in conflict.

Yoga is a lifestyle, functional fitness is a training style (both of which we can ALL benefit from).

I’m proud of every season of this body. Pride and positivity in general is a practice not as a default. Of course my first glance at this video was critical. Negativity bias is our normal but it is optional and you know the drill by now 😉 neurons that fire together - wire together SO the more we practice noticing our strength the more we notice it, the more we notice the more we progress, the more we progress the more we want to show up 💪🏻 Plus getting cheered on by other strong woman in the gym definitely helps 😏

All while continuing to show up and be detached from the outcome 😂 hey, no one said the path of yoga was easy 😉
