I guess our weather couldn’t make up its mind last week 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🌧️⚡ One day we had rain and lightning, and the next day we were treated to beautiful sunshine ☀️

The only thing that stayed the same? The freezing cold! 🥶

Thankfully, our learners were prepared with their coziest pyjamas, fluffy gowns, warm blankets, and big smiles. ❤️ A day filled with comfort, laughter, movies, popcorn, and lots of winter fun!

Winter days are always better when spent together. ❄️🧸

🌾🐄 FARM TO TABLE AT PATHWAYS 🐓🍅

At Pathways, learning goes far beyond the classroom walls. This term, our learners have been exploring our beautiful “Farm to Table” theme, giving them hands-on experiences that teach real-life skills in meaningful, exciting and inclusive ways. 💚

From learning about horses, milking cows, planting and harvesting fresh produce from our very own poly tunnel, to exploring farming through music, technology and sensory activities, every lesson is created with purpose, patience and love. 🌱🎶💻

One of the greatest blessings at Pathways is having the space and environment where our learners can truly experience these moments first-hand, touching, seeing, hearing and doing. For many of our learners, practical experiences are where confidence grows and understanding comes alive.

No matter a learner’s age, ability or disability, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn life skills that build independence, dignity and joy. And our incredible facilitators and teachers pour their hearts into making sure each learner is supported, encouraged and empowered every single day. ✨

Our learners absolutely love music, and it is such a powerful tool for expression, connection, and joy. Music therapy helps support emotional regulation, communication, and confidence in a fun and engaging way 🫶🏼

We are so excited to welcome Janelle, our new music therapist, to the Pathways family. Our learners have already been enjoying their sessions so much, and we can’t wait to see the beautiful impact music will continue to have. 🎵

Today Eva spoiled all the facilitators with a little Spur breakfast date and honestly… how blessed are we?!

There’s something so special about working at a place where your boss values you, appreciates you and makes time for moments like this. The staff laughed, ate way too much, and just enjoyed being together outside of the classroom for a bit 🤍

And can we just say… Woodlands Thunder Valley Spur, is honestly the BEST. The kindest waiters, the sweetest managers, and always so welcoming to our Pathways family. Thank you to Thabo and Lucky for blessing Pathways, with monthly contributions, allowing us to have our learners coming for their birthdays and so much more! We are so grateful to have a community that shows so much passion, love and care for our amazing learners!

So grateful to be part of a place that feels more like family than work 🥰✨
