Pretoria Country Club

Our PCC Ladies Golf Clinic is coming up, offering all ladies a relaxed and supportive opportunity to learn, improve their skills and gain confidence on the course.

The clinic will run over 7 x 90-minute lessons, starting on either Saturday, 5 September or Wednesday, 9 September.

Sessions will be presented by a PGA Coach and will cover basic golf technique, scoring, rules and etiquette.

PCC DOMINATING THE 2026 NORTHERNS SNOOKER WINTER LEAGUE 🏆

One of the three premier events on the Gauteng North Snooker calendar came to an exciting conclusion last night - and it was PCC who emerged on top!
Modelled on our very own PCC Summer League, the Northerns Winter League had nine 4-man teams from Innesdale, Crucible, and PCC battle it out in a highly competitive Round Robin format over the past two months.

A massive congratulations to PCC01, crowned the 2026 Northerns Snooker Winter League Champions! 👏🏼

The formidable combination of Munier Cassim, CJ du Plessis, Anton Truter and Christo van Biljon, together with Aadil Joosub as their reserve impact player, proved too strong. PCC01 won an impressive 7 of their 8 fixtures to secure the title.

A special mention also goes to PCC02, who finished a very creditable second in this highly competitive league. Morney Potgieter, Jozua Rossouw, Shaun Jacobs and Ashley Hills flew the PCC flag proudly and helped complete a fantastic 1-2 finish for Pretoria Country Club! 💪🏻

PCC Snooker is certainly in a good place, and we couldn’t be prouder of our players and the depth within the club, with a record 19 PCC players taking part in this year’s league.

Our members braved the chilly weather on Monday for the 2026 Woolavington Trophy, competing for the oldest trophy at Pretoria Country Club. With its long history and prestigious place in the Club’s golfing tradition, it’s always a special one on the calendar.

After 36 holes and some great competition, CP Davis Jnr took home the trophy with a fantastic nett score of 142 (71, 71) 🏆

Congratulations also to Jeandre de Bruyn, who claimed Best Gross with a score of 152 (72, 80).

Our PCC Squash Ladies are hosting their annual Ladies Spring Social, and you’re invited! 🐆🌿

Join us for a fun day of squash, laughter, great company and a little friendly competition. Dust off your favourite animal-print or safari-inspired outfit and compete for the title of Queen of the Jungle 👑

The annual Ladies vs Dugga Boys competition delivered another great day of golf and friendly rivalry.

After taking the title last year, the Dugga Boys managed to hold off the ladies once again and make it two wins in a row! 🏆

Congratulations to the Dugga Boys, and well played to everyone who took part. The ladies will no doubt be back for revenge next year! 😉

PCC Junior Club Championship ⛳️

This past Sunday, 28 juniors took part in the PCC Junior Club Championship across four divisions: A, B, U/13 and Girls.

It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout, with so many young golfers enjoying the course and competing for their respective titles. The future of junior golf at PCC is certainly looking bright!

Best of luck to Juan-Corné Brand as he represents South Africa at the WSF World Junior Squash Championships in Canada! 🇿🇦🇨🇦

His journey to this championship has been truly inspiring. After a heartbreaking injury brought his World Junior campaign to an early end last year, he has shown incredible resilience, determination and character in fighting his way back. His comeback says as much about the person he is as it does about the player he has become.

Now, as a talented Grade 12 student and one of South Africa’s brightest young squash stars, he has another opportunity to compete against the world’s best.

We are absolutely thrilled with the turnout for our latest Pretoria Country Club Ladies Golf Clinic! We welcomed 28 ladies across our Wednesday and Saturday sessions, and the energy was unmatched 🏌🏼‍♀️

A massive shoutout to our incredible coaches, Henk Alberts and Athol Dowie, for sharing their expertise, patience, and passion for the game.

The best part? The golf bug has officially bitten for many of the ladies, and we’re so excited to welcome a few brand-new lady golfers to the Pretoria Country Club family.

Whether you came to perfect your swing or were just starting out, thank you to everyone who made it such a successful clinic.

Pretoria Club’s annual Ring of Fire Bring & Braai brought together over 150 members and guests for an awesome Father’s Day afternoon at PCC.

Despite the chilly weather, the atmosphere could not have been warmer. With fires burning, live music playing and friends gathered around the braai, it was one of those easy, feel-good afternoons that reminded us what Club life is all about.

Good food, great company and lekker vibes 🔥 Thank you to everyone who joined.
