This World Atopic Eczema Day [September 14, 2026] , we’re shining a light on the challenges people with atopic eczema face every day and calling for greater understanding, empathy and support.

Because what you can’t see can still have a profound impact.

World Atopic Eczema Day - September 14, 2019 The International Alliance of Dermatology Patient Organizations (IADPO) is a non-profit organization made up of skin patient associations from around the world.

From my own experiences in few weeks I can attest to this and its been quite stressful.

Diabetes has become South Africa’s leading recorded cause of death, with Statistics South Africa reporting more than 27,000 deaths linked to the disease in 2023. The figures highlight the growing burden of diabetes and other non-communicable diseases on the country’s population and healthcare system.

Health authorities have warned that the impact extends beyond diabetes itself, as the disease can contribute to serious complications affecting the heart, kidneys, eyes and nerves. The latest figures are likely to intensify calls for earlier diagnosis, better disease management and stronger prevention efforts.

It's always humbling to be part of community engagements and service delivery. This resonates with us quite frankly because ours is inspire, empower and support men holistic.

Thanks to SASSA outreach program and all stakeholders for bringing services closer to the communities.

Today I facilitated one of the most uncomfortable engagement called Medical Assistance in Dying(MAiD).

I know this topic is quite hot now sitting with Legal and Medical experts to discussed the way forward.

Today was thrilled to present Gender Indentity Training for Tshwane North College Peer Educators. Thanks to Higher Health for affording me this opportunity, really humbled.

Gender Indentity is one of the hard topic to engage students on. My presentation was based on accurate knowledge about Gender Indentity, South African laws, current realities and practical ways to promote inclusion, respect and human's rights.

We had a privilege to be part of Men's Health session organized by Department of Public Works and Infrastructure. Through this session our engagement was based on
•Ms Wendy Masika( Medical Scientist) facilitated DNA Testing and procedures
• Mr Malatjie (Advocate) facilitated Marriage contracts, child maintenance and child Access
• Mr Thabiso Nzama (Neuroscience Coach) facilitated Mental Health & Men's Chronic diseases medication 💊 adherence)

Thanks to all stakeholders who were part of this season and all Men from Department of Public Works for engagement on this session. We have learned a lot 😍 as Men Collective.
